FUNDING

The Friends  receive  funds for their projects from  these sources: 

• memberships,
• donations,
• and book sales.

There are several levels of membership available: individual, family, or life. You may join by submitting a membership form available on this web site or at the library.

The Friends welcome donations from individuals or groups.  We are a 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization and also are eligible for matching donations from employers.

The major source of income is the self-serve book cart located in the lobby of library.  The Friends stock the cart from donated books and other related items. Before the books are placed on the cart, they are sorted and individually priced at our book barn.  Books are then placed in bags ready to be placed on the cart.  If you would like to donate books, take them to the circulation desk in the library and they will be welcomed.
